Crochet Tutorial: Baby Blanket

This pattern is so easy, there’s no need for a written pattern! Just use 2 stitches: Slip stitch and Half-double crochet! Simple as that! You can make this into a baby blanket, a large blanket, a pillow, a scarf, even a dishcloth! The possibilities are endless! Enjoy the video and Happy Hookin’!

Supplies used: 1 pound skein of Red Heart Designer Yarn in Aran and a 7.0mm hook

    I love your baby blanket pattern. I have wTched your video twice and am eager to mKe one.
    Does it make a difference which row you end with? 2 or 3.
    And did you use a #4 or #5 yarn ? I also like to embellish my baby hats.

    • I don’t think it matters what row you end with. I ended with Row 3. I used size 4 yarn which is 10 ply. Hope that helps! Good luck and enjoy!

  2. Hi nadia, I’ve been messaging you, but I’m really not good with tech lol. I’m making this blanket but my edges seem a bit loose. What edging would you advise to neaten it a little bit. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. You are an inspiration x
