Crochet Tutorial: Booties with the Fur

It doesn’t take a lot of money to dress a baby up like a little fashionista! Just a hook, some yarn, and of course, some fur to make these trendy Booties with the Fur! The whole nursery will be lookin’ at her! Haha I crack myself up! (I hope you get this joke!) anyway, this is my version of mini infant Uggs.

Booties with the Fur
Make your princess a pair of these adorable booties today!! It’s perfect in time for the cooler season. These booties will dress up any outfit and will stun so many when they find out they were handmade!! The pattern shown in the video is a very simplistic pattern that you can make in an afternoon. This is not difficult at all! It would be great for any crocheter!!

Boots

You can adapt this pattern to make these booties with or without fur. This is a pattern for ONLY 0-3 Months size. I do explain how to make these a tad bigger at the end of the video tutorial.

Eyelash Furry Yarn in White
2 Buttons for embellishments
Size G-4.25mm crochet hook
Yarn Needle
Scissors

NOTES:
-These booties will fit a newborn to 3 month old baby. The sole measurement will be 3.5 inches when finished.
-These booties are the same pattern until you get to the cuff, then follow along for left bootie an right bootie.

Ch: chain
St: Stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Y/O: Yarn Over
HDC: half double crochet
SC: Single Crochet
DC: Double Crochet
BLO: Back Loop Only
HDC2TOG: Half Double Crochet Decrease (Y/O, go into next st, Y/O, Pull through, go directly into next st, Y/O, Pull through, (you should have 4 loops on your hook), Y/O and pull through all 4 loops. HDC Decrease made)
SC2TOG: Single Crochet Decrease (Go into next st, Y/O, Pull through, go directly into next st, Y/O, pull through, (you should have 3 loops on your hook), Y/O and pull through all 3 loops. SC Decrease Made)

Bottom of bootie: Make 2
Chain 10
Rnd 1: 2sc into 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 5 st. Hdc in next 2. 8Dc in last ch. Working on other side, hdc in next 2, sc in next 5, 2 sc in last stitch where beginning 2 sc are. Don’t join. (26 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in 1st st from last row, 2 sc in next. Sc 7, hdc in next, 2hdc in each of the next 6 stitches, hdc in next, Sc 7, 2 sc in last 2 stitches. Do not join – (36 sts)
Rnd 3: Sc in next 2 stitches, 2 sc in next. Sc10, 2sc in next 2 stitches, sc in next 6, 2 sc in next 2 stitches. Sc 10, 2sc in next. Sc in last 2 stitches. Do not join (42 sts)
Rnd 4:  sc in BLO of each stitch around. Join to 1st sc. Ch1 (42 sts)
Rnd 5: Sc in same as join, and in each sc around. Join, ch1. (42 sts)
Rnd 6: Hdc in same as join and in each stitch around, join with ss to 1st hdc (42 sts)
Rnd 7: Sc in same st as join, sc in next stitch, sc2tog, sc 7, hdc2tog 10 times, sc 7, sc2tog, sc in last 2 stitches. Join, ch1. Don’t turn. (30 sts)
Rnd 8: Sc 9, hdc2tog 6 times. Sc 9. Join and ch1 (24 sts)
Rnd 9: Sc 9, hdc2tog 4 times, sc 7 and join. (20 sts)
fasten off. Weave in ends.

Left Bootie:
Count 9 sts to the left of where you fastened off. (See video for visual instructions)
Row 1: working from the inside out, attach yarn and ch 1. HDC around but do not join, ch 6, turn
Row 2: HDC in 2nd ch from hook and around, ch 1 turn
Row 3: HDC until you have 2 sts left, ch 1, sk 2nd to last st, hdc in last st, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: HDC in first st, HDC in ch 1 space, HDC all the way around.
Row 5: HDC across, Fasten off, Weave in end, Change to Eyelash Fur
Continue to single crochet around bootie with eyelash fur. (See video for visual instructions)

Right Bootie:
Count 6 sts to the right of where you fastened off. (See video for visual instructions)
Row 1: Working from the outside in, attach yarn and ch 1. HDC around but do not join. Ch 6, turn
Repeat rows 2-5 on the left bootie for the right bootie.
Continue to single crochet around bootie with eyelash fur. (See video for visual instructions)

Finishing:
Sew on button and weave in all loose ends.
