12 Days of Christmas: Holiday Festive Wreath

On the LAST of our 12 Days of Christmas project I present to you this lovely wreath! Using a simple leaf design, dress up a door wreath for the holiday or ANY time of the year! This lovely home decor accent is the perfect way to greet your guests this holiday season! Happy, Happy Holidays EVERYONE! May you find plenty of projects to keep your hooks busy in the days ahead! Love and warm fiber hugs to all!

Materials you will need:
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn
Floral Wire
Wire cutters and Pliers
Wreath
G-4.25mm Crochet Hook
Yarn Needle
Scissors

NOTES:
-Use a larger hook to make this larger.
-Work in the BLO of this whole pattern

Special stitches:
Ch(s): chain(s)
YO: Yarn Over
BLO: Back Loop Only
St(s): Stitch(es)
Sl st: slip stitch
SK: Skip
SC: Single Crochet
HDC: Half Double Crochet
DC: Double Crochet
TR: Treble Crochet

Leaf

Make as many as you’d like!

Ch 13
Rnd 1: Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, SC in next ch, HDC in next ch, DC in next ch, TR in next 4 chs, DC in next ch, HDC in next ch, SC in next ch, Sl st in last ch, Continue working on opposite side of the foundation ch, Ch 1, Sl st back into the last ch, SC in next st, HDC in next st, DC in next st, TR in next 4 sts, DC in next st, HDC in next st, SC in next st, Sl st in last st. Do not fasten off.

Rnd 2: Work in a continuous round. SC in each st around working AROUND the floral wire so the edge of your leaf has the wire inside the stitches.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
Cut the wire and hide it behind the leaf.

Assembly:
Glue all the leaves to your wreath.  Be careful with the Hot Glue Gun.
