Crochet Tutorial: Pastel Overload Granny Square

I created this Pastel Overload Granny Square design to add to our 365 Days of Granny Squares project. It uses variety of crochet stitches to create an interesting design! I hope you enjoy making your square!

A couple disclaimers before you start: Be sure to check your tension and use the correct size hook for your square. I demonstrate with an H-5.00mm crochet hook in the video tutorial, but you can make yours bigger or smaller by using a bigger or smaller hook. Also, if yours turns out wonky when you are finished, you may need to block this square to make it nice and flat.

Crochet Tutorial: Classic Man Scarf

Crochet Tutorial: Classic Man Scarf

It starts with a chill in the air and dew on the grass, the time of the year when we begin to add an extra layer for warmth. Why not do that in style for someone you love? With a touch of old-fashioned elegance and sophisticated elements of Jay Gatsby, The Classic Man Scarf is the perfect accessory for the man in your life. I have a personal bias with this particular model, being that he happens to be the man in MY life! This scarf is very versatile and can be worn in a multitude of ways as shown in these photos. The length provides possibility for many different looks.

I combined a variety of stitches and textures to create this lovely piece that is sure to please even the most fashion conscious individual. Using the waffle stitch, half double crochet ribbed stitches, and waves, this multi-textured scarf is a perfect design for anyone. My design was made with three colors of soft yarn giving it all the comfort and warmth needed when we can’t get away from the cold weather.

Whether it’s a cool autumn day and Jack Frost is nipping at your nose or there is a Polar Vortex chilling you to the bone, The Classic Man Scarf is the perfect accessory for all those times you need to keep yourself nice and toasty, but still look fantastic doing it!

Crochet Tutorial: The Web We Weave Granny Square

I created The Web We Weave Granny Square design to add to our 365 Days of Granny Squares project. It uses quite a few chain stitches to create a look of a spider web! You can make this with the traditional black and white colors or you can get crazy with it and use bright colors or make your square bigger and just increase your chains each round to make your web larger! I hope you enjoy making your square!

Crochet Tutorial: Butterfly Effect Granny Square

Crochet Tutorial: Butterfly Effect Granny Square

I created this Butterfly Effect Granny Square design to add to our 365 Days of Granny Squares project. It uses variety of crochet stitches to create a look of a 3D Butterfly! You can make this with two-toned wings or have the wings be one color! This square turned out to be a little larger (8 1/2 inches) but if you use a smaller hook this square may turn out to be 6 or 7 inches. I hope you enjoy making your square!

A couple disclaimers before you start: Be sure to check your tension and use the correct size hook for your square. Crochet Tutorial: In the Garden Granny Square

Crochet Tutorial: In the Garden Granny Square

I created this In the Garden Granny Square design to add to our 365 Days of Granny Squares project. It uses variety of crochet stitches to create an interesting floral design!

Crochet Tutorial: Cornershop Granny Square

I created this Cornershop Granny Square design to add to our 365 Days of Granny Squares project. It uses variety of crochet stitches to create a look with popping corners!

Also, if yours turns out wonky when you are finished, you may need to block this square to make it nice and flat
