This Reindeer Ornament is our fifth pattern in the 12 Days of Christmas Ornament collection! This is such a cute little crocheted gift to adorn your tree or use it instead of a bow on a package for anyone on your gift giving list!

Materials you will need:
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in any colors you want. I used Cherry Red, Buff, Warm Brown, and Black
F-3.75mm Crochet Hook
Stuffing
Yarn Needle
Scissors

NOTES:
-Use a larger hook to make this larger.
-This ornament measures approximately 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide

Special stitches:
Ch(s): chain(s)
YO: Yarn Over
BLO: Back Loop Only
St(s): Stitch(es)
Sl st: slip stitch
SK: Skip
SC: Single Crochet
HDC: Half Double Crochet
DC: Double Crochet

Pattern:

Nose: With Red
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 HDC in 2nd Ch from hook, Sl st to first HDC.
Fasten off with long tail for sewing.

Ears: Make 2 in Buff
Ch 8
Rnd 1: Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, SC in next ch, HDC in next, DC in next, HDC in next, SC in next, Sl st in last ch, Ch 2, Sl st in same last ch, continue working on opposite side of foundation chain, SC in next st, HDC in next st, DC in next st, HDC in next st, SC in next st, Sl st in last.
Fasten off with long tail for sewing.

Antlers:
Make 2 in Warm Brown
Work in BLO and in continuous rounds
Large part:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 SC in 2nd ch from hook. (6)
Rnd 2: [2SC in next st, SC in next st] 3 times. (9)
Rnds 3-9: SC in each st around.
Fasten off with long tail for sewing
Small part:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 SC in 2nd ch from hook. (6)
Rnds 2-4: SC in each st around.
Fasten off with long tail for sewing.

Head:
With Buff
Work in BLO and in continuous rounds
Ch 11
Rnd 1: SC in 2nd ch from hook and across, put 3 SC in last ch, continue to work on opposite side of foundation chain, SC in each st across, put 2 SC in last st. Insert Stitch marker to mark your rounds (22)
Rnd 2: 1 SC in each st around
Rnd 3: [SC2TOG, SC in next 9 sts]2 times. (20)
Rnds 4-7: SC in each st around. (20)
Rnd 8: [SC2TOG, SC in next 8 sts] 2 times. (18)
Rnds 9-10: SC in each st around. (18)
Before going onto next steps, sew nose, add French Knots for eyes, sew on ears.
Stuff your piece and go onto next round
Rnd 11: [SC2TOG, SC in next st] 6 times. (12)
Stuff any extra that will fit.
Rnd 12: [SC2TOG] 6 times. (6)
Fasten off, weave in ends.
Sew on Antlers

Assembly:
Use the video tutorial to learn how to make this whole piece and how to attach each piece.
Add string/ribbon to make it an ornament
Weave in all ends.
