FREE Written Crochet Pattern: Holiday Stocking Hat

FREE Written Crochet Pattern: Holiday Stocking Hat

The holiday season is upon us and I am so excited! I love cozy hats and scarves this time of year and I couldn’t resist making a new hat for the season! Introducing my super soft Holiday Stocking Hat! I used Vel-Luxe yarn for the main part of the hat, Go for Faux yarn for the fur brim and a furry pom I found at the craft store. All yarn is courtesy of Lion Brand Yarn.

NOTES

-Watch the FULL introduction of the video tutorial for frequently asked questions and watch the full video for tips on how to make these smaller or bigger.
-You will need less than 200 yards of yarn for this hat and will fit an ADULT.
-This hat measures 22 inches around the head and 20 inches long.
View this blog (about halfway down the page) for other sizes so you can make other sizes of this design!
-Since you will be using 2 colors of yarn, trail up your yarn throughout the pattern instead of cutting it every row. It will eliminate the step of sewing in a bunch of ends. (See video tutorial on how to do this)
