Puff Stitch: [YO, insert hook, YO pull through] 3 times, YO pull through all 7 loops on the hook

Teapot Cozy
Start with green
Ch 12, sl st to first ch to form a ring
Rnd 1: Ch 1, SC in each ch around, sl st to first SC. (12)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, Work in BLO, SC in each st around, sl st to first SC. (12)
Fasten off and change color
With Aran (off-white)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, [Puff stitch, Ch 1, Puff stitch, Ch 1] in each st around, sl st to first Puff st. (24)
Rnd 4: Sl st into ch 1 sp, Ch 1, 2 HDC in same sp, 1 HDC in next ch 1 sp, *2 HDC in next ch 1 sp, HDC in next ch 1 sp, repeat from * around, sl st to first HDC. (36)
Fasten off and change color
With Red
Rnd 5: Ch 1, BPHDC on each st around, sl st to first BPHDC. (36)
Rnd 6: Ch 1, [Puff Stitch, Ch 2] in each st around, sl st to first Puff St. (36)
Fasten off and change color
With Aran (off white)
Rnd 7: Attach yarn to any ch 2 sp, Ch 1, HDC in each Ch 2 sp, sl st to first HDC. (36)
Now you will work in rows
Row 8: With Aran still, Ch 1, Puff Stitch in same st, Ch 1, [Puff Stitch, Ch 1] in next 17 sts, leave the rest of the sts unworked, do not turn your work. (you should have 18 puff sts)
Fasten off and change color
With Jade
Row 9: Attach to first Puff Stitch, HDC in first Puff Stitch, HDXC in next ch sp, 2 HDC in each ch sp to the end, 2 HDC in last ch sp and 2 HDC in last puff st. (Be sure to have 36 sts at the end of this row) Turn your work.
Row 10: Ch 1, HDC across, turn. (36)
Fasten off and change color
With Green
Row 11: Ch 1, HDC in 1st st, BPHDC in each st until last st, HDC in last st, Turn.
Row 12: Ch 1, HDC across, turn.
Fasten off and change color
With Aran (off white)
Row 13: Ch 1, Work in BLO, HDC in each st across, turn.
Row 14: Ch 1, HDC2TOG, HDC in each st until 2 sts remain, HDC2TOG, turn.
Fasten off and change color
With Red
Row 15: Ch 1, HDC2TOG, HDC in each st until 2 sts remain, HDC2TOG, turn.
Row 16: Ch 1, *HDC2TOG, HDC in next 3 sts, repeat from * across ending with HDC2TOG on last 2 sts, turn.
Fasten off and change color
With Green
Row 17: Ch 1, *HDC2TOG, HDC in next 2 sts, repeat from * across ending with HDC2TOG on last 2 sts, turn.
Row 18: HDC in each st across.
Fasten off.
Other half of teapot cozy
Attach yarn to unworked st on Rnd 7, repeat rows 8-18 for the other half of the teapot cozy
Assembly: Crochet a button hole loop after your last row on the second half of your teapot cozy by chaining 6 and sl st back into last st.
Sew front of your teapot cozy closed around the spout
Sew button to opposite of the button hole loop
