Mistletoe:

Ch 3
Foundation Double Crochet 150
Fasten off.

Assembly: Make 4 loops with the long foundation row and sew it at the top. Add a ribbon bow and sew on some pearly beads. (See video tutorial for visual instructions)
Weave in all ends.

US Terms
YO = Yarn Over

Step 1: Ch 3, YO, insert hook into 3rd ch, YO, pull through, YO, pull through 1 loop on hook, YO pull through 2 loops on hook, YO pull through 2 loops on hook. First Foundation Half Double Crochet is made.

Step 2: YO, Insert hook at the base of previous stitch, YO, pull through, YO, pull through 1 loop on hook, YO, pull through 2 loops on hook, YO pull through 2 loops on hook. Second Foundation Double Crochet is made.
Repeat the same concept of the second FDC (step 2) for the rest of your row.

It’s an easy pattern using a repeat of Front and Back Post Double Crochet. I have added a touch of accent color in the pattern as well as complimenting it with a lovely picot border to give it some additional design features. This treasured piece will be a huge hit! If you want your blanket bigger, just repeat rounds 3-6 as many times as you want, but end on a repeat of Round 4 before going onto the next row.

Fasten off Yellow and change color to Grey, attaching yarn where you left off on the last round.

Fasten off Grey and change color to Yellow, attaching yarn where you left off on the last round.

-You can adjust the size for measurements but these measure 13 inches long and 10 inches around (stretched)
-Since this is a repeat pattern, and it is in the multiple of 4, you can pretty much create this same design with any yarn. I give tips and tricks on how to do so in the intro of both video tutorials. You can use any worsted weight or double knitting yarn. Feel free to use any type of fiber you’d like.

Rows 5-30: Repeat rows 3 and 4 as long as you want it to be.
Fasten off with long tail for sewing up the seam.

Assembly:
