Crochet Tutorial: Feline Rested Sleep Mask

For any mother who needs a day of rest and relaxation this coming Mother’s Day, this is the “purrrrfect” gift!! My Feline Rested Sleep Mask is a very simple, yet novelty item to make in time to give to mom on her special day! Pamper her or anyone who just “kneads” sleep right “meow”!!! This is such a “PAW-some” project!!

-G-4.25mm Crochet Hook (Find the hook I used in my video tutorial here!)
Yarn Needle
Scissors

NOTES:

-This project uses less than 100 yards of yarn.
-Use a smaller hook to make these smaller
-Use a bigger hook to make these bigger
-Watch the FULL video tutorial for visual instructions for each row and tips on how to make this smaller and bigger.
-Weave in all the ends as you go so you don’t have to weave them all in at the very end.

Row 1: 2SC in 2nd ch from hook, SC in next 2 chs, 2 SC in last ch, ch 1, turn. (6)
Row 2: SC in each st across, ch 1, turn. (6)
Row 3: 2SC in 1st st, SC in next 4 sts, 2SC in last st, ch 1, turn. (8)
Row 4: SC in each st across, ch 1, turn. (8)
Row 5: 2SC in 1st st, SC in next 6 sts, 2 SC in last st, ch 1, turn. (10)
Rows 6-10: SC in each st across, ch 1, turn. (10)
Row 11: SC in 8 sts, SC2TOG, ch 1, turn. (9)
Row 12: SC2TOG, SC in 7 sts, ch 1, turn. (8)
Row 13: SC in 6 sts, SC2TOG, ch 1, turn. (7)

Nose

Eyes:
Make 2
Ch 11, Fasten off, Sew to Mask

Assembly Step:
Embroider Whiskers, Mouth, and Nose on Mask, see video tutorial for visual instructions.
Attach Elastic and Felt on back of Mask. Add felt inside ears.
