Crochet Tutorial: Think Spring Cowl

Crochet Tutorial: Think Spring Cowl

Groundhog Day came with the promise of spring, but with the way the Wisconsin weather has been, you would never know! So it is time to think spring with my new Think Spring Cowl! This lightweight beauty was created using this elegant yarn by Willow Yarns. Verbena was the perfect fiber for this piece with it’s variegated colorway and delicate softness. Even as the temperatures begin to warm up, this on-the-go cowl will be perfect into the cool days of early spring!

Crochet Tutorial: Bunch of Grapes Amigurumi

Crochet Tutorial: Bunch of Grapes Amigurumi

I’m “grape-ful” that we are about to wind down another year of puns! Everyone has done a “grape” job with sharing even more puns and projects along the way. I think we all did a whole “bunch” for “raisin” awareness how punny Valentine’s Day can be. I was a bit “crushed” and practically let out a little “wine” when I was struggling with ideas for this segment. Now, I am “raisin” the roof as we near the finish line! I believe this year we kept “raisin” the bar with these “grape” punny ideas! Together we make a “grape” bunch!

Crochet Tutorial: Clam Shell Amigurumi with Pearl Bead

Today, I am happy as a *clam!* I am about to *open up* to all of you and share with you how much you are all *chowder* this world! When I face a new project or new pun, I think “Nadia, the creative world is your *oyster!*” I am not trying to dispense huge *pearls* of wisdom here. No, it would be a *clam-ity* if I started doing that! Instead I will put my heart and hand *mussels* to better use and make great projects for y’all! And *shucks!* maybe you like a few! I am trying to do as many fun and fashionable projects before my baby arrives. You know, the whole *clam* before the storm idea…anyway, I better *clam* down and get to work! I will just put on some hits by the *Wu-Tang Clam* and get started! Happy Hooking Everyone! I really hope none of you have to *pull apart* your projects today!

Crochet Tutorial: Octopus Keychain

Crochet Tutorial: Octopus Keychain

Wouldn’t it be awesome to have more “arms” to crochet? I think it would be “ink-redible,” and I am not “squidding!” I would be well “armed” to take on any project and could “octopi” my time more efficiently! I would “squeeze” a lot more projects into my schedule and would “sea” a boost in productivity! I would be “kraken” down every day! I wouldn’t be a “sucker” and make each day “i-tentacle.” No. I would change it up so I “squidn’t” get bored. That way when Valentine’s Day “floats” by, I can “seas” the day, wrap my “arms” around my sweetie, and have time to “cuttle” with the one who “octopis” my heart.

Follow along with this video tutorial to learn how to make this keychain:

Crochet Tutorial: Egg Amigurumi

Crochet Tutorial: Egg Amigurumi

I’ve been a little “terra-fried” to try another year of Valentine Puns. I was so “eggs-cited” to give it a “fry,” but at the last minute I “scrambled” to come up with some funny, punny projects. So, I sat down with an “egg-spresso” and got to work on seven new puns that are pretty “egg-cellent” if you ask me! I hope these are “eggs-actly” what you are looking for this Valentine’s season! I love making up these ridiculous “yolks” and I hope they “crack” you up as much as they do for me! Ok, Ok, “omelette” this slide by for now and I “shell” put the puns to rest. I am sure you all are “shell-abrating” today’s stream of punny-ness is over!
